This website is intended for folks that I have been able to interest in a plant-based diet. I welcome questions and comments, but please do not use this site for heavy debate, there are plenty of other sites out there where these topics are debated. I have found through my personal experience, and research that a plant-based diet is by far the most important aspect of a healthy and disease preventative lifestyle, followed closely by stress management and exercise.

I am not a doctor, I have received a certificate in plant-based nutrition, but more importantly I continue to educate myself about plant-based nutrition, and look forward to the continued benefits I have already experienced, and am hearing about from friends. This said, everyone has to trust their sources and more importantly their own results and instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, please let me know, but more importantly do your own research and if necessary seek medical attention. Do not take chances with the one body you are given. Do however keep in mind that if you do follow a course of dramatic nutritional change, you may experience as I did a period of detoxification which may seem like your body is rejecting the change, however, these things should not last more than 1-2 weeks, and again if they are serious, don’t take a chance and seek medical attention. Most importantly, learn to listen to your own body, and this will become easier after this period of detoxification.

I may talk about some things that seem radical to you now, I know they did before I began this journey. Keep in mind I am here to support you whether you are ready to switch to a completely plant-based diet, or if you just want to begin to replace some of your traditional eating habits with better ones. Any changed in the direction towards a plant-based diet will be good changes, and I am here to help.

  1. I just came across your website and it said to say Hello. I have been practicing a plant-based diet for the last 8 months. I have a very small FB group called Get Healthy Shawnee and I enjoy conecting with othesr that share my same views. We don’t have many vegans in Oklahoma!
