My routine: Glass one, first thing when I wake up. Glass two, right after breakfast. Then, I keep a gallon jug in the bathroom so that each time I lose one, I drink one. Until about 5pm, then I stop so that I don’t have to get up in the night.
I work from home, so it makes it easy. If you don’t work at home, how about getting a jug to carry your water in that is the right size for 6-7 glasses, or a full half gallon to take with you and then make sure you return it empty at the end of the day. You could set a timer on your smartphone or watch to go off every hour to remind you to drink a glass.
So, no more excuses, it is so very important to get enough water in your system, make it a top priority, and you’ll find, just like changing your eating habits change, after a month or so you will think “I don’t know why I ever had a problem drinking 8 glasses of water a day.”
